The short version: Specialty Crop Dashboard does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. All data you enter stays on your device.
Specialty Crop Dashboard ("the app") displays publicly available USDA specialty crop pricing data for fruits, vegetables, nuts, potatoes, and onions. This privacy policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is handled, and your rights.
The app allows you to set a display name, choose a profile photo, and save favorite crops to a watchlist. This information is stored only on your device using the device's local storage (AsyncStorage). It is never uploaded to any server, shared with third parties, or associated with your identity in any way.
If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

The app contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no crash reporting service.
The app communicates with the following external services to provide its core functionality:
The app fetches USDA crop pricing data from a Supabase-hosted database. These are read-only requests for publicly available agricultural market data. No personal information is included in these requests. Like all internet services, Supabase may log standard connection metadata (such as IP addresses) as part of normal infrastructure operation. When you view the AI-generated market insights feature, the app sends USDA market notes (supply, demand, and tone descriptions from government reports) to the Cerebras AI API to generate a short summary. This content is publicly sourced agricultural data — no personal information is included. Cerebras's privacy policy is available at cerebras.ai/privacy.
Neither service is used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
The app requests access to your photo library only if you choose to set a profile photo in the Account screen. The selected image is saved locally on your device. The photo is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared. You may deny this permission without affecting any other app functionality.
Because no personal data is collected or transmitted by this app, there is no personal data stored on external servers that could be subject to a breach. All user-customizable data remains on your device under the security protections provided by iOS.
The app does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app displays publicly available agricultural market data and is not directed at children.
If the app's data practices change in a future update, this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the change.
